How to donate internationally
We welcome donations from our international friends. Thank you for your generosity.
If you'd like to make a donation and live overseas, please find donation information for your region below. In some cases, you may be able to receive tax benefits from your country of residence on charitable donations.
You can support Newcastle University by donating online via the British Schools and Universities Foundation (BSUF). Remember to state Newcastle University as your recipient.
The BSUF process gifts from the US on the University’s behalf. Gifts made through BSUF to the University are tax-deductible for your benefit too. It's no different from donating to a charitable organisation based in the US. Both the University and BSUF will acknowledge receipt for your records. You can also give by cheque to the University of Newcastle in America, our own registered US not-for-profit organisation.
Newcastle University is registered on a list of worldwide universities recognised by the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA). This means the CRA will recognise official donation receipts from Canadian taxpayers on donors' tax returns. Canadian taxpayers' donations to the University will qualify for tax credit.
When we receive donations from Canada, we send donors a receipt with all the necessary information.
Please visit the Canada Revenue Agency website or contact advancement@ncl.ac.uk for more information.
If you currently live in Hong Kong, you can make a secure donation to Newcastle University:
